Yamaha launches Cygnus Ray-ZR a sportier version scooter
Yamaha today launched the cygnus Ray-ZR scooter in india which would be avaliable for sales in the market from next month. Ex showroom price starting Rs 52,000 an Delhi.
Yamaha Motor had showcased during the 2016 auto-expo. This scooter design was based for youthful real boys scooter.The scooter is available in two varients – Drum brake and Disc break The cygnus Ray-ZR powersd by a 113cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve engine with yamaha’s Blue core technology.Generates 7.1BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8.1 Nm of torque @ 5000 rpm and is mated to a continuosly variable transmission (CVT). Yamaha claims that it can return a fuel effciency of 66 kpl.
The Cygnus Ray-ZR the scooter features a telescopic fork front suspention, under seat storage of 21 litres, an analogue instrument cluser and tubeless tyres. The drum brake varient will come in two colors. The disc brake variant will get two different colors.
The Cygnus Ray ZR total size 1,820 mm in length, 700 mm in width and 1,115 mm in height. It has wheelbase measuring 1,270 mm, a seat height of 775 mm and a wet weight of 103 kg.
Deliveries of the cygnus Ray ZR are scheduled to commence in May 2016
