Yamaha open a technical school in Mumbai (749 Views)

Japanese bike manufacturer Yamaha open a new technical school in Mumbai to provide job to underprivileged youth. They will provide training to underprivileged youth. They can improve their technical skills and secure a job in Yamaha dealerships. After the completion of the training period, they will receive a certificate from Yamaha technical academy and they will be later employed as technician at various Yamaha dealerships.

Masaki Asano, MD of Yamaha Motor India Pvt Ltd said, "At present, there is a huge skills gap in the two wheeler industry which is fast expanding, on the other hand, a large number of unskilled youth are being pushed towards unemployment creating hindrance to the nation’s development. This partnership is meant to address this very concern by providing a platform to the economically weaker and unemployed youth to obtain a job oriented technical training in two-wheeler repair and servicing that meets industry standards. Upon successful completion of the course, the students will receive a certification by Yamaha Technical Academy that will help them gain suitable employment within the industry."
